In addition to FM, the&nbsp; repeater is capable of Allstar and Echolink and has a VOIP phone patch&nbsp;for local calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>K6BJ VHF Repeater User Control Codes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before using any of these features:<br>\u2022 Listen for at least 30 seconds to ensure the repeater is not in use.<br>\u2022 Identify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Function Control Codes<\/strong><br>767 Time Request: The repeater announces what it believes is the current&nbsp;time.<br>768 Temperature Request: Repeater announces the current outside and&nbsp;equipment rack<br>temperatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>769 Voltage Request: The repeater announces the current AC and battery&nbsp;voltages.<br>729 nnnnn DTMF Dial Pad Test, where nnnnn is between 1 and 16 digits on&nbsp;your tone dial pad. The<br>repeater will read back the digits you pressed. The letter \u2018D\u2019 on the&nbsp;<br>touchtone pad cannot be read back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>28* Signal Replay. Enter the 28* command and release PTT. The repeater&nbsp;prompts with<br>\u201cReady.\u201d Press PTT and talk for up to 10 seconds, then release PTT. The&nbsp;repeater will play<br>back your received signal so you can hear the quality of your signal&nbsp;received by the repeater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Phone Patch<\/strong><br>*6 nnn nnn nnnn &lt;10-digit telephone number with USA area code&gt; will make&nbsp;a call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> *0&nbsp;&nbsp; will hang-up.&nbsp; Please ID again when completed.<br>*6911 EMERGENCY. Calls the 9-1-1 Emergency Center.<br>Identify before and after transmitting DTMF tones on the repeater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information on how to utilize the repeater functionality is also&nbsp;available in an interactive mode on the repeater itself.For help on using the K6BJ VHF repeater do the following:<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ID yourself, then press: * 9 2 0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Allstar<\/strong><br>The club hosts an AllStar node (#60216) instance on the K6BJ VHF&nbsp;repeater. The AllStar Link configuration is set up such that any user&nbsp;can connect to the repeater from it. We ask that you please be mindful&nbsp;of linking repeaters (especially high-traffic ones) to ours during&nbsp;reserved times (nets and event operations). Please refer to the list of&nbsp;the club nets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Allstar control codes are as follows (Please ID yourself before&nbsp;performing any DTMF commands):<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; For link status, press: * 7 0<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To connect with an AllStar node, press: * 3 &lt;node number&gt;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To disconnect from the last connected node, press: * 1 &lt;node number&gt;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To disconnect from a node , press: * 1 &lt;node number&gt;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To disconnect from all nodes, press: * 7 6<br>If you are traveling and are within range of an Allstar-enabled&nbsp;repeater, and with the repeater owner\u2019s permission, press the PTT button&nbsp;on your radio and press: * 3 60216, which will connect you to the K6BJ&nbsp;<br>VHF repeater node. Additionally, if you have a personal AllStar node,&nbsp;you can connect to the repeater through it.
