{"id":3139,"date":"2019-12-03T17:18:39","date_gmt":"2019-12-04T01:18:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.k6bj.org\/?p=3139"},"modified":"2020-05-17T20:26:20","modified_gmt":"2020-05-18T03:26:20","slug":"november-meeting-recap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/k6bj.org\/wordpress\/archives\/3139","title":{"rendered":"November meeting recap"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">November Meeting Recap<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>1) November Club Meeting Board Elections and Guest Presentation to a Full House!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The November 15 Club meeting was great fun, and brought radio operators and will-be radio operators from far and wide.&nbsp; The first item of Club business was to elect new Board officers, which occurred quickly.&nbsp; Here are the new officers that will serve for the next two years:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President: Becky Steinbruner (Ki6TKB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vice President: Richard Adams (K8SQB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Secretary: John Gerhardt (N6QX)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Treasurer: Allen Fugelseth (WB6RWU)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Board Member: David Dean (N6DTH)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Board Member: Cap Pennell (KE6AFE)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Board Member (past President): Don Taylor (K6GHA)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Repeater Committee:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nate Preston (KM6THE)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Craig Harlamoff (N6SBN)&nbsp; (special interest in digital modes)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duane Titus (K6TS)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many thanks to Gary Watson (K6PDL) and Ned Rice (N6ZOZ) for serving on the Board for the past two years.&nbsp; We hope they will remain involved in Board discussions as important issues move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A GREAT PRESENTATION BY ERIC SWARTZ (WA6HHQ) followed.&nbsp; Eric, owner of Elecraft, brought one of the new K4 Direct Sampling SRR HF transceivers that his company has developed and is currently taking orders for production.&nbsp; He brought a model to demonstrate the amazing technology and kept us all spellbound for the rest of the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>November Meeting Recap 1) November Club Meeting Board Elections and Guest Presentation to a Full House!
