\nSeptember BOD meeting minutes approved. Ron will post them on the web site.
\nReports
\nTreasurer\u2019s Report
\nLittle financial activity. Cash on hand $2,859.21.
\nMembership
\nNo new members.
\nEmail Reflector
\n126 people on mailing list. 211 total topics. November 25 will be the reflector\u2019s 1-year anniversary.
\nWebsite
\nNo changes.
\nRepeater
\nLink from KJ6FFP still down. The problem is at the Watsonville site. K6BJ-2 meters remains fully
\nfunctional as a stand-alone repeater. Becky plans to paint the new repeater door Nov. 6.
\nOld Business
\nRepeater I\/O Panel
\nNo progress. The club will not pursue a complete weather station at the Delaveaga repeater site.
\nSuch a station would be redundant, given the nearby full weather station at KE6AFE.
\nPublic Safety Power Shut-off Preparation Exercise
\nThis ARES-organized repeat exercise is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 8, at Green Acres Elementary
\nSchool. No insurance binder was necessary.
\nARES Deployment for PSPS Oct, 26 \u2013 28
\nTeams deployed to a county-selected location in Boulder Creek. Deployment went well, but a lack
\nof publicity from the county meant few citizens were aware of our service.
\nWinter Field Day, Jan. 30 \u2013 31, 2021
\nDecided to cancel due to Covid. We\u2019ll try again in January, 2022.<\/p>\n
Support for Hams Who Lost Equipment in the Fire
\nDon has been working with Sue Worstell, widow of Glen, KG0T, who passed away last March.
\nSue wishes to donate Glen\u2019s considerable equipment to hams who lost their gear in the recent
\nwildfires. Don and Roberta, AJ6KN, have moved much of the gear to storage. Don, in cooperation
\nwith the SLV Amateur Radio Club, will contact recent victims of the fires, including K3RRY,
\nK6XX, KA6MSA, and KA6SQG, to arrange appropriate equipment donations. The balance of the
\ngear will be auctioned locally, with proceeds going to an emergency fund held to assist future
\ndisaster victims.

\nRobert, KJ6FFP, is looking for a used ambulance.
\nHoliday Luncheon
\nThe Holiday Luncheon will be virtual. David will poll members to find the best date and time,
\nwith results to be announced at the November general meeting.
\nElection of Officers
\nAll current officers expressed willingness to continue serving, except John, who is termed out as
\nSecretary. John will email all members, inviting candidates for all offices to come forward. New
\nofficers will be elected at the November general meeting, November 20.
\nStanding Committee Assignments
\nA number of permanent standing committees mandated by our bylaws have been unstaffed. We
\nagreed that individual board members would serve as the focus of activities related to key
\ncommittees, as follows:

\nBecky will ask for member volunteers for these activities.
\nJanuary Meeting
\nDavid will survey members for ideas for the year ahead, to be discussed in the January general
\nmeeting. Richard will look for a speaker to discuss logging software, specifically N1MM, which
\ncan be challenging to configure properly.
