\nBecky gave a detailed report.
\nBecky and Vince will be doing some maintenance.
\nNext meeting of repeater committee to be scheduled.

\nOffered assistance for club brochure.

\n105 year certificate to be presented from AARL
\nWill Ask Craig to talk about special event station
\nWill Ask Jeff Liebermann AE6KS to present on his AIS project<\/p>\n
OLD BUSINESS
\n6) Budget (All)
\nWill discuss next month…
\nCap suggested that next year’s board may have different budget priorities.
\nBecky will work to publish something before next meeting.
\n7) K6L Special Event Report (Richard & Craig)
\nWent well. Looking at getting closer to lighthouse next year.<\/p>\n
8) Wilder Ranch Special Event (Becky)
\nAll events at park are canceled, but they may agree to allow us to do something.
\nBecky is continuing discussions. Tentatively planning for late September or October.
\nPerhaps only a fox hunt.
\n9) Membership Card Project Update (Richard)
\nRichard is working on it. Wants membership list.
\nBecky will get postage, forms & envelopes to Richard.
\n10) Mallory’s (KN6PHG) Radio (Becky)
\nShe has received it. She’s using it for nets and demoing to friends.
\nNEW BUSINESS
\n11) Nominating Committee
\nMost officers will have met their term limits.
\nWe will need a roster for November’s elections.
\nRichard volunteered to join committee.
\nBecky will look for volunteers from the general membership.
\n12) Refreshing Club Trifold Brochure (Becky) see attached current version
\nRon would like information sent to him, and his wife will send some designs to board
\nfor approval.
\nGary will send him what he needs.
\nRon suggested maybe sending them to hams not affiliated with the club.
\nBecky suggested sending some to the local ARES meetings.
\n13) Another Swap Meet This Fall?
\nBecky will plan for 9\/25 8-2
\n14) Any Closing Comments \/ Suggestions?
\nEd Fong antenna order:
\nBecky suggested that club should pay for order and seek reimbursement when
\ndelivered.
\nVince Volunteered to pick up antennas.
\n$35 dual band
\n$65 tri-band
\nGary moved to allow club to pre-pay for antennas.
\nRichard Seconded. Board passed.
\nBoard Voted to give Shawn N7OTA a complementary club badge.<\/p>\n
