Hey Craig and All,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It went very well. US-3585 is a very nice location. I\u2019d say we had about ten hams show. There is a fair amount of pedestrian and canine foot traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cap was helping with his map and boundary locations. Jerry was wandering about helping anyone who needed it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jim NCG activated with ft8. Both Keenan and I activated with my G90 POTA Performer station on 20m phone. We encountered some very strong QRM at times. We had an RV next to us and I heard an electric guitar. Also they may have had a microwave and other electrical devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had a contact in northern Wisconsin and central New Mexico. Others were the regulars – Washington, Utah and Colorado. We even had a few contacts from the CA QSO Party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 20 meter band was good. I only had radials for that one and didn\u2019t try others. Gonna order some spade connectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moses and his father had trouble with QRM on their station. When I spoke to them they hadn\u2019t made any contacts. I\u2019m curious how it went for them after we left. I gave Keenan a ride home around 1:30 I think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sorry you couldn\u2019t have been there and that you had a rough time. Next month will be here before we know it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
