UCSC ARC

Pictured are Steve – AC6D, Martin – KN6GWQ and Farhad – KO6HNG at the W6SLG Amateur Radio Club. Their headquarters is located at Jack Baskin School of Engineering up at UCSC.

The group discussed the possibility of integrating Allstarlink, a VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) network into W6SLG’s repeater. I found the SLG ARC poster in the background very interesting. RKO Pictures used the antenna with a ball emitting lightning bolts on for their logo. It refers to a radio picture, or a television broadcast.

The SCCARC looks forward future collaboration with UCSC’s ARC. Stay tuned!
